“The Painted Music”: painted, splashed, illustrated, stained and scribbled music, is a suggestive and pleasant pictorial and musical tour of the warm memories of childhood, as Summer games, open-air dances, grandmother’s stories… “Mother Goose”, by Maurice Ravel and “Little Suite”.

BIO
Joan Baixas: “Poetic imagination, formal research, attention to the contemporary reality, humour”.
Painter and dramatist, born in Barcelona in a family of artists and travellers, known for his creations of visual theatre, mixing painting with puppets, masks, robots and projections.
He directed the company, Teatre de la Claca, with which he travelled around the world in a van, and collaborated with artists like Joan Miró, Antonio Saura, Roberto Matta, Luis Pacual , Joglars, Circus Oz and other.
His productions were shown in all kinds of locations, from streets and community centres to renowned places such as Guggenheim Museum in New York and Bilbao, Centre Pompidou, Tate Modern, Sydney Opera House, Teatre del Liceu, Hong Kong Arts Festival, ICA Arts in London, St. Marks Church in New York.
He also directed celebrations and public events, did some work for television, fashion and advertising, became professor at the Insitut del Teatre in Barcelona and other international institutions and published poetry and articles on his professional experience.
