Who wants to be Hamlet?
Few would like to swap lives with a character in a Shakespeare tragedy. Generally they do not have an enviable end…
Max wants to be Hamlet. He wants that Shakespeare decides for himself, talks for himself, releases him from his pain and fear, through the words of one of his more complex and analyzed characters. So day after day, he recreates the illusion of life as a director, manipulating and controlling its nightmares, like a puppeteer.
But the brain is wicked and we are faced, sooner or later, with the great truth: life is uncertain.
This is not a version of Shakespeare's Hamlet, "we are just with the character, his concerns and internal conflict", says Miquel Gallardo and with life size talking puppets and an excellent puppet manipulation technique.
