A show about the difficulty of recognizing one's own identity, about the conflict between being and seeming, inspired by "Salome" from Oscar Wilde, where the protagonist is not even a femme fatale princess, but a girl that we could know.

The water drops, the air blows, it’s not interior or exterior, is the skeleton of a space, a woman meets with herself. An ancient chess game shows the story of a girl of clay: a princess of perfect forms called Salome. All men who saw her immediately fell in love with her mysterious beauty. The woman of clay embodied the dream of every man, her moldable material was transformed according to the desires of those she found. Each one could draw on her the object of their desire, everyone loved, not Salome, but the dream that was carved on her, and so, Salome transforms herself for the others and no longer knew who she was. Salomé was convinced of being a great woman, full of power, without realizing that she was just a doll of clay that people around her used and manipulated. Until one day he saw her true image in the eyes of the only man who did not wish her, Giovanni Battista, the prophet. Then, she saw the piece of clay that she was and lost her head...

The show was a finalist of the Premio Scenario 2011 (Italy).
